Day 1

Drive to Chivay and visit to the termal springs

You will be picked up at your hotel, and along the journey, you'll make several stops for your convenience. The first stop is in Santa Lucia, primarily for restroom use. Moving on, the second stop takes you to Lagunillas, where you'll be treated to a captivating landscape and the sight of Andean birds. The third stop is at "Patawasi," a restaurant offering the chance to enjoy a Coca mate (not included) and use the facilities. From here, you can marvel at Misti, Pichu Pichu, and Chachani from a unique angle, observing the intriguing forest of rock formations resembling trees. Additionally, this is where you will change vehicles.

Continuing the journey, the fourth stop occurs on the pampas of Toccra, featuring gaps with underground water. Here, you can spot llamas, alpacas, and local muleteers, along with various Andean birds. The fifth stop is at the Andes lookout, known as Pata Pampa, standing at an impressive 4900 meters. This point offers the highest elevation of the entire trip, providing a panoramic view of 8 volcanoes forming a circle of fire. Descending from here, you reach Chivay, the pivotal town in the Colca Valley, situated at 3650 meters. Upon arrival in Chivay, there will be a lunch break.

Post-lunch, your guide will escort you to your hotel, and in the afternoon, you have the option to join the guide for a visit to the La Calera hot springs. After a rejuvenating soak in the hot springs, you will return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Drive to Colca Canyon

Following a 6:30 – 7:00 AM breakfast, your guide and transportation will pick you up from your hotel. The first destination is the picturesque village of Yanque, home to the valley's most beautiful church in the Colca region. You will then embark on a scenic journey through a rustic path, treating you to stunning views of the Colca Valley and its terraced agricultural landscapes for approximately an hour and a half. Arriving at Condor Cross, revel in the breathtaking sights of the Colca Canyon and witness the majestic flight of the Condors.

After immersing in the beauty of the Colca Canyon and the awe-inspiring Condor flight, you backtrack to Chivay, making several stops along the way. The first stop is the Huayra Punko viewpoint, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the Colca Valley. Next, you pause at the Antahuilque lookout, where you can marvel at the amphitheatre-shaped terraces and mysterious ponds of the Colca Valley. The journey continues with a visit to the charming town of Maca.

Returning to Chivay, there will be time allocated for lunch before taking you back to your hotel, allowing you a free afternoon to unwind and explore at your leisure.

Day 3

Drive to Arequipa

After breakfast, you will set off for Arequipa. On the way you can watch how the landscape changes little by little; from the rather barren landscape of the Altiplano to the green terraces of the Colca Valley. The rest of the day is at your disposal.
